Welcome home
Not only have the guests of the Hotel Hubertus come from all over the world. The hosts, Monica and Markus are also well-travelled. The local Lech-born Markus has lived and cooked in Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal and Brazil.
His wife Monica, born in Brazil, he met and fell in love with in Spain. For seven years the couple ran an Austrian restaurant in Sao Paolo, "Wolf’s Garten", before returning to Arlberg.
At ease in the world, at home in Lech
In 2014 Markus took over the Hotel Hubertus from his father and since then he and Monica have been welcoming the world into their home – in beautiful Lech. As is fitting for true cosmopolitans, not only their two daughters are growing up multilingual. International guests can also look forward to being greeted in their mother tongue. Monica speaks Portuguese, German, Spanish, Italian and English. Together with their team, the host couple welcome their guests from near and far and provide unforgettable holiday memories.
